On Saturday I was walking the St Crispin and Berrywood estates with a couple of residents surveying some of the issues around traffic movements and the state of some the drains and kerbs which are shortly due to be replaced by the developer in the coming month or so.
It was quickly brought to my attention that 10 or so concrete and paving pads appeared on the land close to the entrance to Ashlar and Keystone apartments’ car park.
It was obvious in the way they were arranged that they were likely to hold some kind of Portakabin or Sales Office.
As this is one of the many areas of land agreed for transfer to the Borough Council I contacted the planning department, as they are dealing with the land transfer.
They did not seem to be aware of the arrival of any structure on this land and are investigating the issue.
I will keep residents informed of any progress on the situation over the next few days.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any concerns.
